Lewis N. Levy focuses his practice on the representation of labor organizations, employee benefit funds, and individuals in all aspects of labor and employment law, including representation in unfair labor practice proceedings before various federal, state, and local administrative agencies, arbitration proceedings, and federal and state court cases involving complex labor relations issues.
Mr. Levy has tried over 300 administrative, private labor arbitrations, and court cases. Along with his late father, Abe F. Levy, Esq., he co-authored the chapter entitled "Labor Law" in the Encyclopedia of the American Judicial System (Robert Janosik, Editor, 1987).
Mr. Levy earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern School of Law in 1982. He is admitted to the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Nevada. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as numerous United States Circuit Courts of Appeal and United States District Courts.
Lewis is currently the President of the Southern California Chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association and a member of the Administrative Committee of the Western Region of the Jewish Labor Committee. In addition, he has taught various labor law courses through the Trade Technical College Labor Studies Center.
